ACON
ACON
are a dedicated LGBTQIA+ community health organisation, established in 1985 in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in NSW. Since their inception, ACON have provided a multitude of community health support initiatives and services, including HIV and AIDS testing, free sexual health and STI prevention information and support, alcohol and other drug counselling, crisis accommodation and housing support, as well as community outreach and education.


TransHub
An online resource directory created by ACON. Helpful information and resources for transgender and non-binary people including information around transitioning, locating health providers, ID and name changes as well as resources and information for families and allies.

Black Rainbow
A suicide prevention and community support service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQIA+ people, 100% Indigenous owned and operated NGO. They assist Indigenous people in the LGBTQIA+ community with micro-grants, access to pre-paid phone credit and youth homelessness support.


Trans Pride Australia (TPA)
An advocacy and social peer support organisation for transgender people living in Australia. TPA organise and facilitate a range of services and support groups for the trans community and are continuously working to advocate for and raise awareness around issues affecting trans people in Australia. They have an active support group for transgender people on Facebook: TPA Group. They also facilitate several other support groups for partners, parents, family and allies. The Gender Centre, Inc.
A counselling and support service for people experiencing gender dysphoria and people wishing to explore their gender identity. The Gender Centre is located in Annandale, NSW. They offer individual counselling and casework, as well as support groups for a range of demographics, including young people, adults, parents and families. GP referrals are required for counselling and other allied health services, and referrals can be submitted directly via their website for your GP’s convenience.

Twenty10 GLCS
Twenty10 work with people across Sydney and NSW to provide a range of support services for young people in the LGBTQIA+ community and their families. They also offer group activities, online peer hangouts as well as Out West, a Western Sydney social support group for young LGBTQIA+ people based in Parramatta, NSW every Wednesday from 5PM-7PM*.
